Raining? In December?

It has to be somewhat Apocalypse-esque. It's raining right now. But it's December. How could it be raining? This morning my dad told me that the temperature was supposed to get up to 70 degrees. WHAT?!? It can't do that in December can it? Well in Missouri it can. Man this weather is weird...

More Christmas Thoughts

If anyone that is reading this, if you know me, you know that I rarely ever send texts that say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Thanksgiving" and "Happy Birthday" etc. But tomorrow, or tonight, I think might be different. Going along with my previous post I also thought about how precious friends can really be, since I'm going away to college next year and all that jazz. I've realized that personally I haven't told my real friends that I cherish every moment that I'm with them. Whether that be for ten seconds or ten hours. I love it. And them. And I have to let them know somehow right? Well I would go to all of their houses and let them know exactly what they mean to me. But I don't have that much gas. I would call them but I don't think I'd get to all the people who I would want to call. So instead I'm going to give in to what I don't like doing and send them, gulp, a text message. Don't worry though. It's going to be full of heart warming things. It'll nearly melt your eyebrows off. It for sure won't be cheesy. Considering that I'm supposed to be telling my friends that I love them. I sure hope that they'll get the point I'm trying to get..

Christmas Thoughts

As I sat and listened to the song "First Breath After Coma" by Explosions in the Sky, it put me in a mood where I couldn't help but think. Think about what, I don't know, but I just sat and thought. The more I thought the more I thought clearly about different things in my life like: why I did so poorly my freshman year of high school and why I don't hang out with a lot of my friends outside of newspaper a lot. So I thought about it. And thought about it some more. And I finally realized, that I shouldn't be thinking of this kind of stuff. Why would anything like this be even grazing my mind? I don't know. Can't explain it..

2007 WEB DuBois

Ha ha. This is a project I had to do for my Honors Comm. Arts class about a book that we had to read. I chose to represent my book through the form of a video and I believe I got an 85% on the project itself. Enjoy.

2007 Highlight Video

This video is from my junior year of football. I did all the editing, with my dad making some edits towards the tail end of it.

2008 Coaches Video

At the conclusion of my senior year of football at Francis Howell North, the seniors wanted to make a video in which the seniors depicted the coaches; something the 2006 seniors did when we were freshmen. I shot a good majority of this, co-edited and have a little cameo. So without further adieu, I give you the 2008 Senior video:
